This one Adrian had in her net and didn't realize until we were on the trail. We took it out and took pictures, but have no flash pattern information.

  1. Nice observation of a male Pyractomena! This could be Pyractomena lucifera or Pyractomena marginalis, but hard to say without flash pattern details and a dissection of genitalia. The pronotum doesn’t look as elongated or rounded as it does in typical Pyr. lucifera, so if I had to guess I’d say Pyr. marginalis.
