Observers stayed on elevated path that was bordered by the marsh. A lot of saltmarsh mallow, southern live oak trees on elevated area of path, swamp dock, leafy bladderwort, scarlet rose mallow has been observed here, alligator flag

  1. Tentatively ID-ed as Photuris douglasae, based on size (12 mm), coloration of hind coxae, and shape of pronotal vitta (head shield marking) that is widened at the front, something that Lloyd notes in his description.
