Observation Notes:

High bridge was looking o er the tree tops and there were clusters that could be seen all along the bridge but closest to the appomattox river. We saw majority green and yellow. But a few individuals of orange was there.

  1. The fireflies with green flashes seen en-masse around the treetops at this time of year are generally in the genus Photuris, but their tree-top habits make them very challenging to study and identify!
