Observation Notes:

One mating pair was observed at 4:45 PM on the rough bark of a mature black willow along a wooded footpath adjacent to a marsh. The male was about a cm long and the female was noticeably larger and lighter in color. There were no light-colored edges to the wing covers. Ventral photos were not taken so as to not disturb.
