The trails we surveyed line Armand Bayou with a mixture of Oaks, Hackberry, Pines, yaupon holly, & dwarf palmettos. The area trees have been decimated from last year's hurricane after being stressed from prior years' freeze and droughts. The center's stewardship have had to cut down many dead or dying or dangerous trees.
