Observation

Observation Type:

Flashing

Number Observed:

11-50

Genus:

Photuris

Species:

lucicrescens

Observation Notes:

19mm, long bright flashes with about 7 seconds in between (I think). Below I selected a height of over 8' which was where most were, just out of reach oh the net, but some were lower and could be caught. Hard to track. I patrolled the driveway and small clearing around my house because I couldn't follow them into the woods.
