Observation Notes:

Multiple individuals observed, primarily within the riparian corridor that abuts my home (Cooley Brook). Yellow green flashes, several seconds apart. Believe to be Photinus ignitus, but I have not netted and identified to species yet.

Flash Location:

I have observed flashing over the last 3 weeks both in my backyard (mowed grass) and inside the riparian corridor that abuts my yard. Flashing fireflies are located at multiple heights, I have seen them flash at about 4 feet above ground and higher up within the trees (over 8 feet).
