Observation
Observation Type:
Non-Flashing
Number Observed:
1
Genus:
Microphotus
Species:
unknown
Observation Notes:
Single glow worm observed right off the road on the ground beneath either a red maple or Douglas fir. The exact tree wasn't noted, but it was near a bend in the road, in the bottom of a drainage channel. Observers were unaware of firefly tracking at the time, so additional measurements and special habitat notes were not made. Photos were not recovered.
