The flashing took place while it was flying and then continued after it landed in grass. The specimen that was caught was located in the forested area.
Male Flash Behavior:
Flashed in a fast dot dash pattern and seemed to make a harsh u-turn for the longer dash flash. Once in the grass the flash pattern became a single, quick, rhythmic flash.
