Sampled at forest edges near the lake and along the road near field station. Buildings close but very little lighting. Boreal Mixed wood, mostly mature tembling aspen and balsam fir. Fireflies only in scrubby ecotone vegetation (about waist high). None on station lawn (mowed) or in forest under canopy.
