Habitat Type Notes:
Habitats at the survey site included both mangrove swamp lining Paurotis Pond (dominated by red mangrove) and more upland vegetation on the opposite side of the parking lot, including Gumbo limbo (Bursera simaruba), Everglades palm (Acoelorraphe wrightii), cabbage palm (Sabal palmetto). In the Florida cooperative land cover map (version 4), habitats include mangrove swamp, Glades Marsh, and South Florida Bayhead.
