A belated thank you for submitting this firefly observation! Without flash pattern details, it isn’t possible to confirm that this is a loopy five firefly (Photuris forresti), and several things suggest a different species:
-this would be rather late in the season for loopy five (usually active more like mid-May to mid-June)
-loopy fives generally lack the diagonal pale stripes down the wing covers that some other Photuris have
-I can’t quite tell from the map, but it doesn’t look like the site was a swampy wetland, which is the habitat of this species.
I have changed the identification to “Photuris unknown.”
