An old stone bridge leads away from an old mill and crosses a wetland area. This survey was not long after the 13-year cicada emergence in this area. Hardwood trees include box elder, sweetgum, and oak. Pine is in the surrounding area. There is a river not far away.

Most of the time, there was not light tresspassing into the site. However, a friend was looking around with a flashlight and occasionally the light went into my area.

Did not count the number. They were all over the mowed field. They were flying low and making J's. I do not know when these stopped flashing as I went to the wetland away from the field soon after the beginning of the survey.
