Habitat Type Notes:
Pollinator garden curated by Utah State University. Freeway and parking lot west of garden, mowed grass north, open field south, and agricultural lands to the east. Water runs nearby, so cattails and insects like mosquitos and flies are common. Plants in bloom included: sunflowers, milkweed (not in bloom, gone to seed), rocky mountain bee plant, bindweed, and blanket flowers. Surrounding plants were grasses, large willow trees, willow shrubs, and wild rose.

The observation was in the daytime, but I based these light conditions one what the night would be in this location. It is a rest stop off of the freeway with a parking lot and restroom building adjacent to the pollinator garden.

Observation Notes:
Approximately one to two centimeters long. Was found roaming around a milkweed leaf in a curated pollinator garden at a freeway rest stop. Other specimens found by other people that day, perhaps one more. The habitat had mowed grass, open fields, wetland terrain, and this garden. The garden had sunflowers, blanket flowers, milkweed, bindweed, and rocky mountain bee plant. Plants surrounding the are were willow trees and shrubs, cattails, and grass.
