There was significant skyglow and glare from highrise buildings. The light sources that appeared to be reaching habitat the most were outdoor lights of a park building and security lighting at the boat storage area. Glare and light trespass from vehicle headlights dissipated as visitors left the park.

Observation Notes:
Observed about 8 adult males flashing, no adult females, and fewer than 10 larvae. The larvae were all found along the edge of the mangroves west of the parking lots.

Flash Location:
First flashes were low among red mangrove roots by the water's edge. Other individuals flew over the trail in the upland vegetation.
Male Flash Behavior:
Yellowish flashes among mangrove vegetation. Flash period was variable, including a 2.1 second period and a 2.8 second period. They mostly flew relatively low, about waist to chest height.
Female Flash Behavior:
Not observed.
