This was a wetland created from the rancher allowing the water to flow continuously from a solar wind mill. The water flowed into a ring tank for cattle but also created a small wetland.

Per trail camera footage, fireflies were sitting in aquatic vegetation (cattails) and flying low above the vegetation. Note - flash pattern and other info is recorded on trail camera footage for later analysis.

Males were very active flying and flashing but only for a short period of time.

Female Flash Behavior:

No females were observed.
